Country Music Singer Morgan wade to Headline the Teton County Fair Concert

The Teton County Fair Board is excited to announce the artists that will be featured at the 2023 Teton County Fair Concert, sponsored by Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Real Estate, set for Thursday, July 27 in the Rodeo Arena. 

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with opening act featuring Kat Hasty taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. Country and Western singer and songwriter Corb Lund will take the stage before headliner cross-genre singer and songwriter Morgan Wade. 

Wade, who grew up in Virginia, says she started writing music to speak her truth, save her own life, and throw a rope to others struggling with the weight of the world. She hit the country music scene in 2018 with the self-release of Puppets with My Heart. On tour for Puppets with My Heart, Nashville-based entertainment company Thirty Tiger signed Wade to a record deal and in 2021, released her second album, Reckless. The single Wilder Days, from Reckless, peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and was number 29 on the Country Airplay chart. Wade is described by Slant Magazine as “a blend of pop and country without subjugating either, all while covering a wide swath of stylistic ground.” 

Opening act Kat Hasty has been singing and writing music before she knew how to put words on paper. Growing up in west Texas, her upbringing pours through her songwriting in tales of desert highways and the hustle and bustle of oil towns. Hasty made her musical debut with her two-part EP Drowning in Dreams, which is described as real, raw, and unapologetic. Following Hasty is Corb Lund, who grew up on his family’s farm and ranches in Canada and has been writing music and performing since 1989. His current album, Songs My Friends Wrote was released in 2022 by Warner Music.
